Marcie is nothing short of a miracle worker. When I first went to see Marcie just over a year ago, I had a 5 o'clock shadow every 8 hours and my anxiety was at an all time high because of my facial hair, putting my mental health at an all time low. Marcie saw I needed her help, and with her commitment to always doing her best work, the professionalism of her treatment plans, and her kindness in educating and supporting her clients, I've been able to get through treatment for extensive hair growth due to PCOS in just one year and begin living a happier life. I love this clinic!! I started off getting laser treatments on multiple areas & I was very happy with the results. I wish I would’ve started laser hair removal years ago instead of shaving/waxing, but fast forward to my 50s & here I am. Laser is the ticket if you have dark hair. Laser is quick & effective for permanent hair removal. However, the grey hairs I battle have to be removed via electrolysis since laser doesn’t work on grey hair. Genie has been working on me in which my end goal is a full Brazilian. This little lady goes to places no one should ever go lol. Genie is so good at what she does & it shows in her work. She’ll make you feel comfortable & at ease. She’s very personable & has a great sense of humour. I’m thrilled when she’s zapping my stubborn hairs in my old crooks & crannies that have such big roots that they probably have teeth lol. She zeroes in on them & she’s on a mission to kill them. Those buggers will be gone forever soon. There’s progress with each treatment & she’s dedicated to each & every session. I go once a month & I’m well on my way of having a hairless kitty & surrounding area. For all you younger folks out there thinking about laser, GO FOR IT!! Don’t wait for years like I did. I spent so much money on getting waxed. I could’ve been hair free years ago if I went the proper route. Genie is superior to other electrolysis operators. For years my mom went to an electrolysis operator who wouldn’t zap the hairs correctly & the hair always grew back. She spent thousands unfortunately. She’s very elderly now & she’s left with lots of hair:( Genie has integrity & cares about her clients. You won’t be disappointed. My insecurities about too much hair are now gone. I’m 85% a hairless kitty at this point & I’m a very happy lady. Also, her prices are quite reasonable. She’s worth every penny!! You won’t be disappointed. I spent years of time and thousands of dollars trying laser hair removal with no success. I felt I had no choice but to try electrolysis. After having my first consult with Marcia it was clear that she was results driven- and I was wanting results. She spent the time to educate me on the difference between laser vs. electrolysis, but was transparent that it would not be fast, and it would not be cheap. She even encouraged me to have consults with other electrologists and wait before starting to allow for a more effective first treatment. It was clear she was not driven by money, which set her apart from many others in the field. Marcia will take you on as a client if she feels your goal is realistic and she can get you the results you are after. She accomplishes this through a very specific treatment plan. Throughout my sessions Marcia made sure to take progress photos and educate me on hair growth cycles so that I remained confident that lasting progress was being made. Despite a very negative experience with laser, I never lost confidence in Marcia because she is honest, professional, and very knowledgeable. She is aware of advancements in her field and is client centered with her schedule, high quality equipment, and ability to seamlessly distract her client from an uncomfortable process with humour and good conversation. Electrolysis is not cheap and it is not painless, but if you follow her plan you will get the results you desire- permanently.

Marcia is Amazing, very professional and really cares for her clients. My results after electrolysis are great. It takes time but if you follow all instructions you will get best results. Every single penny worth it:)

Absolutely wonderful experience having laser done with Cindy, who is very thorough, non-judgmental, never awkward and very professional. I have experience getting laser done at several different places in not only Winnipeg, but also in the United States and Cindy was by far the most effective, and reasonable (when you get a package). Unfortunately I had a rather bizarre experience with Marcia trying to book an appointment for electrolysis, and while I can't speak to her quality of work, since she refused to take me on as a client, I found our interaction insulting and odd and will not be going back to Genie's for any further treatments as a result.
