What is that feeling?

 

For many people, the word ‘electrolysis’ conjures up pretty unsettling images. The idea of  a ‘needle’ and electricity…wait, it’s not like that.

You will not feel the probe because it gently enters the hair follicle.  There is no electric current sensation…you will feel warmth generated in root area.  Usually it hurts less than plucking out a hair.  What your nerve endings will perceive is very individual so all we can say is you’ll be happy to have checked it out, and discovered that you do in fact have the tolerance.

If you’re still  skeptical, or you’re super-sensitive, don’t worry, there are techniques to desensitize or completely anesthetize treatment areas.
